# Deposit shares

The deposit shares dictate how the nToken will allocate incoming liquidity among the active liquidity pools during a minting action. Deposit shares are represented as percentages and should add up to 1 (100%).

### Selected parameters

We selected the following deposit share parameters:

| Cash Group        |
Deposit shares

(3 month)
|
Deposit shares

(6 month)
|
Deposit shares

(1 year)
|
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| **Stablecoins**   |                                       |                                       |                                      |
| USDC              | 0.45                                  | 0.40                                  | 0.15                                 |
| DAI               | 0.45                                  | 0.40                                  | 0.15                                 |
| **Crypto assets** |                                       |                                       |                                      |
| ETH               | 0.55                                  | 0.45                                  | NA                                   |
| WBTC              | 0.55                                  | 0.45                                  | NA                                   |

The selected deposit shares aim to direct more liquidity to actively traded maturities.

We plan to update deposit shares according to the market demand for each tenor at least on a quarterly basis.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.notional.finance/governance/ntokens/deposit-shares.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
