# Strategy Types

Notional Exponent offers three different strategy types: Staking, PendlePT, and Liquidity.

#### **Staking**

* Staking vaults mint and hold staked tokens like sUSDe or weETH.
* Smart withdrawal can be initiated at any time for vaults that support it.

#### **PendlePT**

* PendlePT vaults buy and hold PTs like sUSDe 27 NOV 2025 PTs.
* Smart withdrawal is only available after the PT expires.
* Smart withdrawal applies to the PT's SY token. Here is an example flow for sUSDe 27 NOV 2025 PTs:

#### Liquidity

* Liquidity vaults mint and hold LP tokens issued by DEXes like Curve. Some vaults stake LP tokens on yield boosters like Convex to boost incentive yields.
* Liquidity vaults usually earn incentives. Incentives are streamed directly to users and are claimable at any time.
* Smart withdrawal can be initiated at any time for vaults that support it.
* Smart withdrawal applies to the tokens in the liquidity pool. Here is an example flow for sUSDe / sDAI Curve LP tokens:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.notional.finance/exponent/overview/strategy-types.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
