# What is Notional Exponent

**Notional Exponent** is a leveraged yield protocol that enables users to maximize returns on DeFi yield strategies with leverage.

Notional Exponent is built for DeFi power users who deploy leverage to increase yield. The protocol connects directly to leading lending markets like **Morpho** to source borrow liquidity for specialized yield vaults. This allows users to lever up and increase their returns.
